Operations

We are open every day from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm.

We are NOT your typical cleaning company. We are striving to be different than your standard cleaning company. We are making getting your home clean simple again, with no more complicated quotes and cluttered websites.

Booking Online

Appointment times are available Monday through Sunday, from 8:00am to 7:00pm and we will be in touch in less than 1 hour (during business hours) to confirm if this date and time works.

It really takes no more than 60 seconds. Simply fill out the booking form here: platinumlotus.ca/conact and we’ll be in touch to confirm your date and time in less than 1 hour (within business time).

Cleaning Supplies

We bring all our own supplies. If there are supplies that you would prefer us to use (for wood floors for example) feel free to let us know and we can use any supplies you leave out for us.

We have teams that do 100% green cleaning. Simply request it and we’ll assign a green-cleaning team at no additional charge.

Pricing & Payment

We currently accept credit/debit cards. Our online payments are handled by Stripe, and are processed through a fully secure 256 bit SSL protocol. In addition, we have a full extended validation SSL security. Booking through Platinum Lotus is safe and secure and we guarantee this. Any unauthorized charges that are made to your card as a result of doing business with us will be fully refunded.

We operate on a flat rate basis given the number of bedrooms, and we also offer hourly services. For most standard sized home cleanings, please see our price rates here: platinumlotus.ca/services.

Recurring Service

Simply select the frequency of cleaning on our booking form, and we will set everything up from there. There is up to 20% off if you book a recurring service. You can make changes 24-hours or more prior to the appointment without incurring any fees.

No, you do not have to contact us unless you need to make changes to your booking. When you select recurring service, our system will know to schedule your future cleanings based on the date/time selected. You will receive a reminder email before the cleanings so you can expect us and if you need to make updates.

Day of Service

We usually estimate 1 hour per bedroom, but we do not specify a length of cleaning. We clean until we are finished for a standard home and within reason. For special cases or extremely large homes, we may adjust the estimate and price for fairness.

No, just leave us a key to gain entry and we will take it from there. You can leave a key under the mat, in the mailbox, at the front-desk, what ever is most convenient for you!

We assign one (1) cleaner to most bookings. If we feel it is necessary to have more cleaners, we will let you know.

Cleaning Types

Our move in/move out cleanings are designed to prepare a home for a new tenant. It’s a deeper cleaning that includes cleaning inside cabinets (empty cabinets and drawers) and drawers, fixtures, inside the fridge (empty). We charge extra for this and you will find that an additional cost for move in/move out cleaning is standard across the industry.

The deep clean service is a comprehensive top-to-bottom cleaning. We recommend a deep cleaning if you have not had your apartment professionally cleaned within the past 3 months.
It does not include inside the oven, inside the cabinets or inside the refrigerator, all of which are available at a reasonably priced additional cost.

COVID-19

At Platinum Lotus, our top priority is the safety of our cleaners and customers. We recommend that you also review the CDC’s guidelines for reducing the spread of COVID-19. These include:
Washing hands frequently and vigorously for 20 seconds to prevent the spread of germs;
Avoiding touching of the eyes, nose, and mouth; Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe; and
Social distancing. We also ask that all customers proactively follow the CDC’s guidelines to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus during your bookings. Other recommendations for customers include:
Stay in a room separate from the one your cleaner is cleaning. This will (1) allow the cleaner to clean thoroughly and without interruption and (2) maintain the 6-foot person-to-person distance currently recommended by the CDC.
Cancel or reschedule bookings if you feel sick or are concerned about the wellbeing of those living in your home or your cleaner.
